Scarlett poses with new designs of MANGO winter

Once again, Scarlett Johansson, one of the most internationally-famous Fashion models, will feature in the new MANGO winter campaign. This is the third time the actress has launched the firm’s new designs since she became the face of the brand last year.

A typical London residence was the setting chosen by MANGO for the photo shoot, in which the actress once again posed before the camera of Mario Sorrenti. The prestigious photographer, who has collaborated with MANGO since Scarlett became the face of the brand, succeeding in immortalising the more elegant and romantic side of the actress. Jane How was responsible for the styling, while LucĂa Pieroni and Oribe, respectively, were responsible for make-up and hair styling.

In this new collection, MANGO takes a fresh look at the timeless classics of British country style: trench coats, double-breasted jackets and tailored coats, without forgetting, in knitwear, the basics and thicker garments with a handmade look.

The carefree combination of these traditional garments is evocative of the late 70s. Tweed, corduroy and leather, together with sheer silks and touches of gold, create a contrast between the masculine and the feminine, giving new meaning to the classics.

Amber Feroz Spring/Summer collection

Opening with visuals by VJ Fusion, the Amber Feroz Spring Summer collection began with modern abayas carrying strategically placed revealing cuts and sleek designs. Models with shaylas covering their heads walked the ramp in light abayas of chiffon fabric and silk with minimal embroidery, focusing instead on the cuts and silhouettes.

Evening wear followed in a host of colors ranging from lilac, yellow, ochre, green, aqua and peach. Pantsuits, short dresses, harem pants as well as maxi dresses in soft silk featured asymmetrical cuts. Innovative beaded leather neckpieces and metal chains added a touch of bohemian glamour to the outfits. Necklines extended to fall at the back in tasseled ends as Grecian gowns were bunched at the hip to accentuate the female silhouette. Emphasizing on deep cuts, pantsuits in silk jersey were accompanied by embellished belts in complementary colours.A deep blue outfit carried a back paneling of bright green satin in an exciting twist. The outfits were enhanced by exquisitely designed shoes from designer footwear label, Paul & Betty.

Manish Malhotra closes the five-day event

Saving the best for the last, Manish Malhotra of Studio 8 presented his glamorous Spring Summer line at the finale of Dubai Fashion Week.

Billowy smoke led the way for the models as they walked the sleek black runway to a background of geometric mirrors. A skirt and bustier combination in shimmering black won audience appreciation with its wine colored trimming and flouncy material.

Bands of embroidered gold ran down the green velvet sherwanis donned by the male models. Worn with black and white patialas and jodhpurs with thin tapering legs, the outfits were accompanied by elaborate neckpieces in gold. Outfits with tri-colored bands were a runway fixture as anarkali salwar kameezes of pink, grey and orange were followed by lehengas in blue, green and teal.

In an experimental reversal of design, a salwar kameez of pale gold were embroidered with metallic blue and red thread to fantastic results. Employing zari work, tasseled ends, colorful baubles and gold embroidery, the tulle dupattas enchanced the regality of the outfits. Bands of velvet made their way into salwarkameezes, lehenga-cholis and sherwanis in a color palette of ivory, pale gold and silver.

Justin Bieber Shirt Fashion Style 2010, 2011

Justin Bieber is one of those stars that many girls swoon over and what many girls look for in a guy. Maybe it’s the way he dresses or just his natural down to earth good looks, either way Justin Bieber has acquired a certain look when it comes to his clothing.

The shirts that Justin Bieber wears are mainly on the casual side and could be considered street wear by many. He loves to wear plain classic t-shirts with a pair of jeans or wear them under the variety of hoodies that he has. Justin also loves to wear the long sleeve pull over shirts that are solid in color like the light colored one he wore at the Microsoft Store Grand Opening on October 21, 2009. The light colored one that he wore had approximately four to five small buttons down the front from the neckline and was a simple shirt.

 Plaid shirts, large print and small, have been seen worn by Justin Bieber. One of the many photos of Justin Bieber found on the web, shows Justin wearing a green and black large pattern plaid shirt, unbuttoned, with a purple t-shirt underneath. Justin Bieber has also worn the red and black large pattern plaid shirts, blue and black large pattern plaid shirts and plaid shirts that are a little dressier and sporting a smaller print pattern.

Justin Bieber is also famous for his hoodies. Black, white, gray, purple or whatever the color, Justin Bieber matches his hoodies well with a coordinating t-shirt in either the same color or an opposing color. This may be one look that the young girls love Justin for as it is more casual, down to earth and is popular among the teens. Whether solid in color or printed with a logo, Justin Bieber loves his hoodies and wears them well.

Style Muse: Rachel Bilson

I used to think that Rachel Bilson's style was a tad crazy, but she's really stepped it up recently. I mean, how incredibly gorgeous does she look in the leopard gown below?! I also love how she can pull off both edgy (see the pink, black, and white dress and black booties below) and feminine (see the lovely pink dress and black pumps below) so well. I'm also loving her more casual styles above, although I admittedly could do without the ombre hair. Rachel is proving that petite girls really can pull off just as many looks as our taller counterparts!

LASH SCULPTURE long Separate Mascara

PROS--
* Lashes are lengthened
* Clumping Effect – Can be good for dolly eye looks
* Lashes feel soft
* Makes lower  lashes look fabulous
*Easy to remove
CONS--
- can get very clumpy after many coats
-smudges easily ( but it also is very easy to remove)
-needs to be layered with another mascara for better looking lashes
- pricey compared to other drugstore mascara
* Differing Results – I experienced different looking lashes when using this mascara. What I mean is that it looks different when I apply on freshly washed lashes versus lashes which have been exposed to elements. This is the strange part of this mascara. It seems to apply better on my lashes after I have just bathed or washed my face and also when I have another mascara on first. It needs a base to work well. Well, after some consideration, this is a drawback to this mascara because not everyone has the luxury of putting on makeup right after a bath or washing their face. I do my makeup in the car always~~~ hehe

Testing it out:

Overall, I think this mascara is a little strange because it works well only on clean lashes or lashes with an existing base ( – mascara or mascara base). There were times when I applied it on a few hours after I had taken a bath or washed my face and it didn’t quite “STICK” so well to my lashes.
For a dolly look or for photo shoots where you really want lashes to pop, it works great, but on a everyday basis, it’s kinda heavy and clumpy. It clumps but doesn’t weigh lashes down. I’m kinda sitting on the fence with this mascara. I use it on top of another mascara when I want my eyes to pop ~ For now, I won’t say it’s a bad or good mascara yet…. … totally undecided about this one…

Available November 23rd: Lanvin for H&M

High-end French label Lanvin will be collaborating with H&M to design a line of womenswear and menswear that will be available in 200 H&M stores nationwide on November 23rd. Lanvin's artistic director Alber Elbaz stated, "H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public." The collection is expected to focus on form, cut, and tailoring. I'm so excited for this collection! Fingers crossed that the new H&M opening up at Easton mall will carry it. I will be sure to post picks from the Lanvin for H&M collection as soon as they are available (the pics above and below are new promo pics for the line)!
